Family Nights are back at Ovation Brands’ restaurants this fall and you’re invited! Starting now through October 6th, grab your family and head out to any Old Country Buffet, Ryan’s, Hometown Buffet, Country Buffet, or Furr’s Fresh Buffet on Thursdays from 5-8pm for interactive and educational activities featuring the Anchor Bay Entertainment’s award-winning animated film Underdogs (now available on DVD, Digital HD, and On Demand). If you haven’t had a chance to see Underdogs yet, it’s an absolutely hilarious animated comedy that brings toy foosball players to life to help a young man save his village. It’s a really cute movie with a great message. My kids loved it!
Like the movie, Family Nights this fall will focus on true life heroes, like fire fighters, teachers, police officers, soldiers, and more. To make it more interactive, Ovation Brands has invited local heroes to participate in the weekly activities and teach kids what it means to be a hero in their own community. Because let’s face it, heroes aren’t just in the movies, there are plenty of them who walk among us every day.
In addition to hosting Family Nights each Thursday from 5-8pm, Ovation Brands’ restaurants will also be orchestrating a canned food drive to help the community during the first week in October. Kids who bring a canned item in to be donated will receive an “I Can Make a Difference” sticker. The Family Nights promotion at Ovation Brands’ restaurants will wrap up on October 6th with a screening of Underdogs at select locations!
