Whipped Cranberry Cream Cheese Dip InstructionsWell, as nervous as I was last week, our 3rd annual Santa & S’mores party a huge success.  The kids made ornaments for the tree and bounced in the bounce house while they waited for the big guy to arrive (and thankfully he arrived a little earlier this year which avoided a lot of overtired kids).  santa 2015After one too many pictures with Santa on the fire truck he arrived on, the kids played with their new toys while the adults mingled. One of the dips out on our table this year was a new recipe that I decided to try – Whipped Cranberry Cream Cheese Dip!  It’s sweet, it’s tart, it’s got all the tastes of the holiday season wrapped up into one delicious dip.  It’s easy to make too, which is good because time was not my friend in the days leading up to this party.Whipped Cranberry Cream Cheese Dip

I first got the idea for this dip after hearing a friend of mine talk about a easy dip she made by pouring jellied cranberries over cream cheese and adding a little cilantro and a few chives.  She told me how her guests raved about it and how easy it was to make.  I was sold.  But when I was out shopping for the Kraft Philadelphia Cream Cheese at Walmart last week, I thought about changing it up and adding a little “sweet” to the mix.  Since I typically love the orange and cranberry combination, I thought that this would be a perfect time to incorporate those two flavors to create one amazing dip.Kraft In Store Photo

And sure enough, it was a hit.  It didn’t even make it midway through the night before it was gone.  Completely, 100% gone.  Since I got so many requests for the recipe during the party, I thought it was only fair that I share the recipe here on my blog.  It’s only fair that everyone get to experience this dip.  It’s too easy and too delicious not to share.  Enjoy!Whipped Cranberry Cream Cheese Dip Recipe
