Right before Hazeline was born, I made a last minute decision to have maternity pictures taken. Nothing crazy, just a few family pictures to remind us what it was like to be a family of three; photos that would capture the excitement, anxiety, and craziness of growing from a family of three to a family of four. Those pictures soon became some of my favorite family portraits and I’m so glad we decided to get them taken.
This time around I knew I wanted maternity pictures…unfortunately I never scheduled them. I was pregnant and busy and the words “schedule maternity pictures” sat on my to-do list for a few weeks. Luckily, Karen from Karen Lisa Artistic Photography was able to accommodate my last minute planning – again.
These pictures were taken back in September, about 1 month before Everett was born. I absolutely love them.
Looking back on these pictures reminds me of this special time in my family’s history…but it also reminds me how happy I am not to be pregnant anymore!
