cherry-cheesecake-dip-tutorialHelllloooo November!  So happy to see you!  Don’t get me wrong, I love, love, LOVE Halloween, but I’m so happy that I can finally (and wholeheartedly) turn my attention to family gatherings, great food, and being extra thankful.  Something about November and December – and the two major holidays contained within – just give me a warm fuzzy feeling.  It’s euphoric, really.

In fact, I was so happy to flip the calendar page this morning that I decided it was time to set the date for our holiday gathering this year.  While it won’t happen until December, there’s already a sizable guest list, so that means planning.  The menu?  Well, most of it is still up in the air, but I do know that this Cherry Cheesecake Dip will making an appearance.cherry-cheesecake-dip-recipe

No, it’s not your normal dip, like chips and dip or veggies and dip or even my Cranberry Dip from last year’s party…it’s better!  Whipped and delicious, this Cherry Cheesecake Dip is the perfect dessert dip to bring along with you to your holiday get together or to keep all to yourself while you watch those holiday movies.cherry-cheesecake-dip-recipe-instructions

Pair it with vanilla wafers, graham crackers, or even fruit and you have the perfect shareable dessert.  Plus, it can easily be made in minutes with only 4 ingredients, so it’s perfect for the holidays when you’re running a little (or a lot) short on time.  Cherry cheesecake never goes out of style and neither will this dessert!cherry-cheesecake-dip-instructions

You will need:
8 Ounces Softened Cream Cheese
8 Ounces Whipped Topping
½ Package Instant Pudding
½ Cup Cherry Pie Filling

Step 1 – Place the first 3 ingredients in a large mixing bowl.  Mix on high until smooth.

Tip:  This recipe is super easy and can be made using a basic hand mixer, but if you want to break in that stand mixer for the holidays, this is the perfect recipe!

Step 2 –  Spoon a 1/2 of the cheesecake mixture into a serving bowl and then pour 1/4 cup of the cherry pie filling on top.  Pour remaining cheesecake mixture into the serving bowl and layer the remaining 1/4 cup cherry pie filling on top.

Step 3 – Garnish with a dollop of whipped topping and graham crackers.  Serve and enjoy!cherry-cheesecake-dip
