Naturally Fresh Chicken Bacon Ranch Roll Ups {Recipe & Giveaway}

My kids love sauces, dips, and dressings.  Ordinarily veggies are a tough sell, but with a little ranch or bleu cheese?  No problem.  In fact, they’ll put dressing on just about anything, which means that I always have it in my house, and my new favorite brand is Naturally Fresh®.

Found at my local Publix, Naturally Fresh refrigerated dressings are an easy choice because they’re full of fresh ingredients.  They don’t use MSG or any artificial thickeners, preservatives, colors, or flavors.  It’s real buttermilk makes their ranch flavors taste so rich and delicious, and the real chunks of aged blue cheese and special blend of spices that make my kids go back for more.  Simply put, it’s the homemade taste that makes Naturally Fresh products so irresistible.

As I picked up some Naturally Fresh Classic Ranch for the Big Game this weekend, my plan was to put it out with some veggies as an appetizer, but then I decided to do something a little special – Naturally Fresh Chicken Bacon Roll Ups!  I’ve been making Chicken Bacon Ranch Casserole for my family for years, but Chicken Bacon Ranch Roll Ups seemed like a much better fit than a casserole for the game and a better choice than a veggie tray.  It’s a new spin on one of my old recipes, and takes a fraction of time.  Did I mention that they’re delicious?  Because they most definitely are!

Whipped up in under 30 minutes with 6 simple ingredients, these Chicken Bacon Roll Ups are the perfect Game Day Snack, sure to wow your guests and please even the littlest ranch lovers in your house.

You will need:
2 cups chicken (chopped, pulled, or shredded)
1 can refrigerated crescent rolls
1/2 cup Naturally Fresh Ranch Dressing
3/4 cup Italian Blend shredded cheese
1/3 cup crumbled bacon (or prepackaged bacon pieces) + 1 Tbsp for garnish
1 Tbsp chives

Step 1 – Preheat oven to 400.  Lightly spray baking dish with cooking spray.

Step 2 – Open up the refrigerated crescent roll dough and roll until flat and even.  You don’t want it thin, but you want it to be a solid rectangle with no prescored lines where the crescent triangles used to be.

Step 3 – Place chicken, Naturally Fresh Ranch Dressing, Italian blend cheese, and 1/3 cup crumbled bacon pieces in a small or medium sized mixing bowl and stir until well blended.  Spoon the mixture on the crescent roll dough, spreading evenly from one side to the other, leaving approximately 1/2 inch of the dough uncovered on one of the long sides of the rectangle.

Step 3 – Slowly start rolling the dough, starting with the long edge that is covered in the chicken bacon ranch mixture and moving towards the edge that has the 1 inch of uncovered dough.  When you’ve finished rolling, use the 1/2 inch of excess dough to press firmly and seal.  Cut the roll into 2 inch sections (I suggest using a serrated knife for this step…it will make your life a LOT easier, trust me) and place in the baking dish.  Sprinkle with remaining 1 tablespoon of crumbled bacon reserved for garnish before placing in the oven.

Step 4 – Bake for 18 minutes or until dough is brown.  Sprinkle with chives after removing from the oven and allow to cool for at lease 3-5 minutes.  Serve warm!
