Little Tummies Need Little Remedies

“I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Little Remedies. I received a product samples to facilitate my review and a promotional item to thank me for my participation.”

Over the weekend, good friends of ours had a baby.  We couldn’t be more excited for them.  As they happily texted pictures of their new little bundle of joy and kept us updated on their name decision, I got a little nostalgic.  Because it wasn’t that long ago that we had our first baby:Greenleigh 1 Day OldShe looks angelic, doesn’t she?  Well, not exactly…  As adorable as she was, those first few months and weeks were hard, and for the most part, that was because of tummy trouble.

Greenleigh loved to eat – she very quickly shattered the suggestions on the feeding chart that the nurses gave me in the hospital and jumped right off the height and weight charts the pediatrician’s office – but the formula she ate often didn’t agree with her.  Sure, we tried different formulas, but none of those changes ever seemed to make a difference.  Instead, our house was full of tears…both hers and mine.  While I was aware that there were medications for colic, the pediatrician assured us that we weren’t dealing with colic, so I didn’t think there was anything out there to help us.

I was wrong.  I just didn’t know it until years later.

When Greenleigh was a little over 2 years old, she complained pain in her stomach.  At that point, I opened some Little Remedies Gas Relief Drops that I received as part of a gift basket.  The results were almost immediate and the pain was gone.  I remember excitedly telling my friends that I’d found a miracle worker in Little Remedies…only to learn they’d been using it for years.  They then told me it was safe for all ages, and had even taken it themselves from time to time.  And because it’s Little Remedies, there are no artificial colors or flavors, no alcohol or preservatives, and it’s completely safe to mix with water, formula, or other liquids, so it’s safe for even the tiniest of tummies.Little Tummies Need Little RemediesIt was also around that same time that I learned about Little Remedies Gripe Water – something I’d heard mentioned when we had Greenleigh, but dismissed because she didn’t have colic – and all it’s benefits.  Like the Little Remedies Gas Relief Drops, Little Remedies Gripe Water is an herbal supplement relieves discomfort due to hiccups and other tummy troubles, while still being completely free of alcohol, paraben, and gluten.  Like the Gas Relief Drops, Little Remedies is safe for all ages.

Now as a seasoned mom of 3, I always have Little remedies in our house, but I make sure to incorporate it in the gifts that I give to new moms, because there’s no reason for them to learn the hard way like I did.  So it’s with great joy that I help our friends welcome their new little addition – Baby Henry – and quickly pop some Gas Drops and Gripe Water in the mail.  I’m also going to pass on these Tips & Tricks for the Gassy Baby:
