This weekend was a whirlwind…a fun whirlwind filled with egg dying, Easter egg hunts, and family fun, but a whirlwind nonetheless. In fact, it was so busy, I can’t believe that it’s over. It’s official – summer will be here before we know it. And I can most definitely assure you that the summer temperatures have already set in here in South Florida.
Before my work week starts tomorrow and things get even more crazy, I wanted to share a few pictures from our Easter weekend. I was finally able to get out of the house and get some really cute pictures of the kids (that don’t include t-ball or soccer), so I wanted to get them posted before I forgot and they ended up sitting in my camera like all the others. Lucky for me, there are automatic smiles when plastic eggs full of candy are involved making Easter pictures easy to take. We even got one of those elusive “everyone looking the same way at the same time” pictures with the Easter bunny.
Sure, I wish Everett was actually smiling, but I’ll take 2 out of 3 kids smiling any day. That’s much, much better than our normal percentage!
The kids even got the chance to hang out on a fire truck after the egg hunt was over. Well, Hazie wasn’t having any part of it, but the other two loved it. I’m pretty sure it was Everett’s favorite part of the entire weekend.
