My work schedule may have been cut down to only 3 days per week – thus alleviating the need to make that 2 hour commute those other 2 days – but I feel like I’m always in the car lately. Dance, T-Ball, gymnastics, playdates…my kids have places to go, and my car is their taxi.
So when I started braving this new schedule, there was no doubt that my Contigo West Loop was going with me. How is a girl supposed to make it through the day without a little caffeine? Plus, my West Loop keeps hot things hot for hours, and cold things cold even longer. Basically, it’s the only mug that can keep up with me and my busy schedule. 
So imagine my excitement when Contigo emailed me telling me that they had improved my favorite travel mug. It was a good day. And after using the new and improved Contigo West Loop, I can honestly say, they really did make the #1 selling line of travel mugs, even better.
Since I’ve already raved all about the things that I love about my old Contigo West Loop – the patented AUTOSEAL lid that seals between sips, the large double wall stainless seal design that’s durable while fitting a full 16 ounces inside, BPA free materials, sweat-free design – let me focus on how they made the West Loop better.
For example, while the West Loop has always had an AUTOSEAL button to prevent spills, they added a lid-lock to prevent spills in the event that the AUTOSEAL button is pressed accidentally in transport. Or, I don’t know, little hands get to it… Whatever the circumstances, the West Loop’s lid-lock has you covered. Press down on the lock and you are spill proof! Perfect for when I’m walking out the door in the morning with the baby in one hand, the purse and diaper bag in the other, and my West Loop somewhere in between. 
And while I’ve never found my Contigo lid particularly difficult to clean, they modified the design so it pivots for even easier cleaning. Anything that makes cleaning easier is fine by me!
Oh! And the colors! I absolutely adore them and the ever-so-slightly more matte finish. My old West Loop mugs were purple and silver, but I’m so happy to add bright and cheery blue and gorgeous jade to my collection.
While I’m never going to love mornings (or that dreaded car drop off line at my daughter’s school), my Contigo West Loop certainly makes it a lot easier to bear!
