Over spring break, Hazeline turned 7 years old. We had a big party with cake and presents and so many of her friends that I almost couldn’t count them all. I ran around like a crazy woman for most of the day to make it happen, but in the end, it was a wonderful celebration and exactly what my now 7 year old requested. 
As I cleaned up the remnants of the party that night I couldn’t help but of how fast she’s growing up, only to open my social media and find this flashback staring me in the face.
I almost can’t believe she was ever that little. It feels so long ago and like yesterday all at the same time. I remember the excitement leading up to that day, the joy of the day that she arrived, and the chaos that followed. Because, let’s face it, there was so much I didn’t know before I had my first baby, and I knew even less about raising two tiny humans.
