The Working Mom Survival Kit Featuring Perrigo Nutritionals {& Giveaway!}

Disclosure: I received the items photographed below for the purposes of my review.  No additional compensation was received.  All thoughts and opinions are my own.

When Everett started daycare 5 weeks ago, feeding issues were my number one concern.  Although his reflux had improved quite a bit, I felt that we were learning to cope more than anything else.  But the gastroenterologist had cleared him for daycare and after 4 months my maternity leave was up, so going back to work was inevitable.  In the days leading up to his first day, I couldn’t help but worry – What if they fed him too much?  What if they feed him to little?  What if they didn’t mix the bottles right?  What if they mistook his spit up for vomit?  And, of course, that was on top of the one constant question – How am I going to do it all?

But as it turns out I’m not alone.  In a recent survey, it was discovered that of the 75 percent of moms that plan to return to work after having their baby, 42 percent have feeding concerns.  Of course not all of those moms have the same type of concerns that I had (reflux related), but I think that we can all agree that feeding issues can definitely add to the stress of returning to work.

Luckily, Perrigo Nutritionals understands feeding concerns.  Made in state-of-the-art facilities right here in the United States, Perrigo Nutitionals manufactures store brand powdered formulas to the strict FDA requirements.  Besides being convenient and easy to feed, their store brand formulas offer a 30-50% savings over national brands.  Over the course of a year, that could save you $600!  They even have specialty formulas for sensitive tummies, spit up, and soy.

And for a little extra guidance with the “How am I going to do it all?” question, Michelle LaRowe is there to lend a hand with her book Working Mom’s 411.  If you’re pregnant and working with even so much as a chance of returning to the workplace after having your baby, I highly recommend this book!  Not only will it help you find the right childcare situation for you and your circumstances, but it will help with managing mornings, backup childcare plans, and menu planning after your baby is born.  There are even a ton of quick and easy recipes in the book, several of which are soon to hit the menu plan in my house.

The bottom line is that returning to work is hard.  But with the right resources, it can be a bit easier.  It just takes a little a lot more planning than your life before kids.

Are you planning to return to work after having your baby?  Or do you know someone who will be returning to work after having a baby?  If so, Perrigo Nutritionals wants to help!  Besides offering a variety of affordable store brand formulas, Perrigo Nutitionals will be giving one winner a Working Mom’s Survival Kit including 2 cans of store brand formula, copy of parenting expert Michelle LaRowe’s new book, “Working Moms 411,” and a 2014 daily planner.  It’s everything you’ll need to stay on track when you return to work!  Enter using the rafflecopter form below and it could be yours.  Good luck!
