Healthcare at Your Fingertips with Healthgrades

“I participated in a campaign for Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Healthgrades. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating”.

With the birth of Baby Everett just 2 weeks ago, you’d think the health care focus in our household would be on me and the new baby, but you’d be wrong.  As it turns out, we’ve had a lot of minor health care issues come up in the last few weeks – sudden pain in my husband’s foot, an asthma flare up for my oldest daughter, and just 36 hours before I delivered I sat in the pediatricians office waiting to see if our then youngest had an ear infection – all of which have left me scrambling to find doctors.  Because the pain in my husband’s foot?  Turns out he needed to see a specialist.  As I scoured the internet to find a specialist, I eventually ended up on Healthgrades, the leading online resource for finding doctors and hospitals.

But now using Healthgrades is easier than ever with the new Healthgrades mobile app.  Using this free app, you can not only look up a doctor and read their reviews, but you can filter by specialty, distance, hospital affiliation, gender, and even what insurance they accept, all of which allows you to make the best healthcare decision for your family while you’re on the go.  And if it’s one thing that my family is, it’s on the go.  Thank goodness I now have all of our information saved – next time, I won’t be scrambling to find a doctor.

Don’t find yourself scrambling to find a doctor…make sure to download and try the new (and FREE!) Healthgrades app today!

Love apps like this that can be such a huge timesaver! We’ve had the same doctors for ages; it’s a pain to find a new one so I hope mine never retire!!

This would have come in handy when I was looking for recommendations when our insurance changed and we had to find some new providers.

  5. What a great app! Thanks for sharing!
