Go Fishing with iPieces Games {Review & Giveaway}

Are you traveling this holiday season?  Looking for a way to keep your kids (or yourself) entertained in an airport, on a plane, or on a long car ride?  Concerned about hearing the words, “I’m bored!” every 5 minutes?  Well, I have a suggestion for you – iPiece games from Pressman Toy.

I first learned about iPieces when I was up in New York over the summer for BlogHer.  Pressman Toy had the Fishing Game out for us to try and I was totally hooked…ha, ha, get it?  Hooked?  But bad jokes aside, the game was awesome and I think that I scared them a little with how much I lingered around the booth.  I practically begged to review one right there on the spot, but they only had enough for demonstrations.  So imagine how happy I was the day my very own Fishing Game and Air Hockey Games showed up at my door!  It was a good day.

So now that I had my iPieces, I went online to download the free app, and we were ready to play.  And play we did!  While the air hockey game was fun, our favorite was definitely the Fishing Game.This game is just as much fun as I remembered!  To play, you catch as their mouths open, then drag them to your bucket.  But of course, it’s not that easy because you have to avoid the pike swimming in the pond and lilypads floating by – both of which will release the fish from your fishing rod.  And even if you do get the fish to your bucket, you still have to avoid the hungry stork that constantly flies by in hopes of sneaking a bit of your stashed fish.  It requires coordination, determination, and skill.  It can be played as a one player game or with others (up to 4), but I definitely think this game is more fun with at least 2 players.

These games are compatible with all iPads and intended for kids, ages 4 and up.  And just in case you’re worried about marking up your iPad’s screen, these pieces are made from special patent-pending conductive plastic.  No need to worry.  But these are only 2 of the great games that Pressman Toy offers!  They also have Snakes & Ladders, Goose, and more!  I think that Greenleigh would love the Snakes & Ladders game, so that’s the next one on my list.  Check out the Pressman Toy website for a full list of all the toys they carry, in addition to the iPiece games!

If you want to buy iPieces games, you know, just in time for that very important holiday next week – you can find them at Toys“R”Us, Barnes & Noble, K-mart, Radio Shack, Learning Express, and BJ’s Wholesale Club stores, as well as Amazon and Toys ‘R’ Us.

Want to win an iPieces game?  Well, you’re in luck because the good folks at Pressman Toy are offering one lucky reader the game of their choice!  Whether it be Snakes-n-Ladders, the Fishing Game, or something else, you could be playing it in no time.  Just fill out the rafflecopter form for your chance to win!
