Pear Tree Greetings: Simple, Affordable, & Absolutely Keep-worthy {Review & Winning for Thanksgiving Giveaway Hop!}

We respect the turkey in our house, but that doesn’t stop me from being prepared for the Christmas season that will start at the end of this week.  Because, let’s face it, once it starts, the next few weeks fly at you at a speed that can’t even be calculated.  And with it come then slew of holiday parties, gift exchanges, get togethers, charity functions, etc. that all require that you bring a gift.  And what better way to keep track of the gift that you brought than some beautiful holiday gift tags.

Pear Tree Greetings specializes in unique, high-quality photo cards and stationery.  Their selection is stylish and affordable, no matter what your budget or occasion.  Each of their cards is made with 100-pound-matte-finish cardstock, and their designs are all original to their website.  But it’s not just everyday stationery!  They have Christmas cards, gift tags, address labels, photo magnets, and so much more.  And because all their selections can be customized, your personality will shine through, making your card, label, or magnet a keeper for the recipient.

For my review, I ordered holiday gift tags.  Those pesky things always seem to disappear in our house, and you never can have too many.  I ordered about 100 gift tags total, in 4 different designs.  Actually, for me, picking the designs was the hardest part.  There were so many that I liked, which made it hard to narrow it down.  After getting Erajh’s help, we finally picked our designs and personalized the tags.  I loved that in addition to adding our last name or first names of everyone in our household, I could change the message on the tag itself.  If you don’t celebrate Christmas, you could easily change the message to reflect the holiday that you do celebrate.  The ordering process couldn’t have been easier.

And they arrived quicker than I ever expected, about 5 days later.  I was concerned that they would get mangled in the mail, but the shipping envelope kept them well protected.  I took them out of the packaging and realized that the colors were even more gorgeous in person than they were online.  I couldn’t have been happier with my order and immediately decided to try them out.

It should be noted that Pear Tree Greetings has two different kinds of Christmas gift tags – stickers and ones that you tie onto your gift with ribbon like this one.  Although I thought the tied gift tags looked really neat, with 2 toddlers in the house that often touch things they shouldn’t, I figured the stickers were the way to go.  If not, I was likely to end up with gift tags scattered all over the house even though I had already put them on their respective gifts.  As much as I thought I would rather have the tied gift tags, I fell in love with the stickers because they are so easy.  They already have our holiday message and names on it, so just stick them on and you’re ready to go.  And it helps that they can be attached to any type of gift, from the wine that you bring to your ugly sweater Christmas party to the shoe box that you made for Operation Christmas Child.

So while these beautiful gift tags will stay tucked away for a few days more, don’t worry, they’ll be in all their glory in about a week.  I’m so excited to use them!
