Smileycookie.com: Valentine’s Day Heart Shaped Cookies {Review}

Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching – Need inspiration?  How about Valentine’s Day cookies?   I’m always looking for cute ideas for holidays and my family has a huge sweet tooth, so I was ecstatic when we were chosen to try these cheerful heart shaped cookies.  They did not disappoint.

When the cookies first arrived I figured that I would open the package and take a few pictures before everyone got to them.  It was late and everyone was in bed, so it was no doubt the safest time to get a picture.  As I opened the container the most delicious smell filled my kitchen.  I snapped a few pictures but couldn’t resist snagging one two cookies before I eventually headed off to bed myself.

Photographic evidence that the container was once full of cookies...it didn't stay that way for long.

The next day, Greenleigh spotted the cookies and was enthralled.  She loved the smiley faces and wanted to try one.  Okay, it was a little earlier than it should have been to give her a cookie, but we have been pretty liberal with giving her cookies lately due to potty training.  I couldn’t get the cookie out of her hand once I gave it to her and she insisted on being photographed with her “smile” cookie.

Greenleigh smiling, just like her cookie.

But the poor cookie didn’t make it very long and was quicklgobbled up.  She then demanded another one.

Greenleigh introducing her cookies to one another. There isn’t much left of one of them, but she felt the need to introduce them, nonetheless.

All in all, she had a great time eating them and introducing them to each other.

I really liked these cookies, too.  As a parent of a child with a peanut allergy, I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw the sticker that said the cookies were made in a nut free facility.  In addition to being safe for my family, the cookies are tasty and adorable, and did I mention they smell ahhh-mazing?  Because they do.  I think these cookies would be perfect gift to send to a child as a special surprise, for a Valentine’s Day party at school,  or just with a cup of coffee or tea at night after the kids have gone to bed.  Why do the kids get to have all the fun?
